By far my favorite Who song, "Bald Headed Woman" wasn't even written by the band. Shel Talmy was the mastermind behind this song (along with "My Generation") but it was actually released by The Kinks a year earlier on their first album and covered by a bunch of other bands of the era. Harry Belafonte also recorded a version. I've been trying to find it but no such luck. Anyways, who do you think did it better?
